Our Mission
We believe all humans can heal their disconnected relational lines with Nature which is essential for re-learning the language of the Land so that Earth herself can restore and heal. We support this three ways:
Through community knowledge shares, classes and trainings on Nature intelligence, diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
Listening to, abiding by and aligning ourselves with Native American elders and their teachings about good Nature relations.
Build strong resilient, inter-generational and multiracial communities that stand together to disengage from hate, division, and violence.
Our Vision
We are a Human-Plant Relations Movement remembering all the ways that we are Kin with Nature.
On Talking - Kahlil Gibran
You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts;
And when you can no longer dwell in the solitude of your heart you live in your lips, and sound is a diversion and a pastime.
And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered.
For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly.
As a Plant Pioneer
Our work is grounded in plant intelligence science and Deep Ecology principles that corroborate what traditional and First Nations peoples have always known about our plant world: they are our relations. Thus, a Plant Pioneer seeks to explore opportunities that are educational and interactive towards developing a sensitivity in making plant contact to better understand their realm, regardless of their utility to humans, and where we begin a restorative relationship over a user relationship.
